The Vietnamese government has agreed to offer electronic visas to nationals of all nations and territories entering Vietnam from August 15. Through a digital system, the Vietnam Immigration Department will issue electronic visas to foreigners.
From August 15, Vietnam will issue e-visas to people of all countries and territories entering the country.
Until date, Vietnam has only issued 30-day single-entry e-visas to nationals of 80 different countries.
The new e-visa, issued by the Vietnam Immigration Department via an electronic transaction system to foreigners, will be valid for multiple entries within 90 days.
Foreigners will be able to enter and exit through 13 airports, 16 land border crossings, and 13 sea border crossings using an e-visa. Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat, Cam Ranh, Da Nang, Cat Bi, Can Tho, Phu Quoc, Phu Bai, Van Doan, Tho Xuan, Dong Hoi, Phu Cat, and Lien Khuong are among the 13 airports.
